- Completed 621 total passes on 997 attempts for a 62.2% pass completion percentage.
- In a single season, he threw for 3,567 passing yards (fifth nationally) with 40 touchdowns, 203 completions, along with a 67% completion rate.
- He had 10-plus consecutive games with a touchdown pass twice, had 471 yards and 502 yards passing in a single game and averaged 324 passing yards per game in a single season.
- He was twice named to the Courier-Journal All-State Honorable Mention.
