Had an amazing record-breaking career at Eminence High School...Rewrote the school’s record books but also the KHSAA state records in 14 different categories...In his prep career, finished with 10,461 passing yards and 103 passing touchdowns...Completed 621 total passes on 997 attempts for a 62.2% pass completion percentage...In a single season, he threw for 3,567 passing yards (fifth nationally) with 40 touchdowns, 203 completions, along with a 67% completion rate...He had 10-plus consecutive games with a touchdown pass twice, had 471 yards and 502 yards passing in a single game and averaged 324 passing yards per game in a single season...He was twice named to the Courier-Journal All-State Honorable Mention.
