Enrolled at Murray State in January and went through spring practice.
BEFORE MSU: Spent two seasons at Utah State...led the Aggies with 42 catches for 492 yards and four touchdowns in 2010...caught season-high six passes for 82 yards and a score against Nevada...had three catches for 91 yards and a touchdown in his first game against Oklahoma...spent two seasons at Butler Community College...redshirted during the Grizzlies 2008 national championship season...earned firs-team all-Jayhawk honors as a kick returner and honorable mention honors as a wide receiver in 2009...averaged 36.8 yards per kick return...added 16 receptions for 370 yards and three touchdowns.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at Antioch High School...earned third-team all-state laurels as a senior, as well as earning all-state recognition for track and field in the long jump...rated a two-star recruit by Scout.com and Rivals.com.
PERSONAL: Full name is Dontel Natray Watkins...born April 4, 1990...son of Tunita Watkins...has three brothers, DeAndre Sherrill, Davonte Sherrill and Germaurius, and one sister, G'monae Watson...majoring in Interdisciplinary studies.
