Spring 2013: Finished senior year after playing 37 rounds in 13 events with an average of 71.9... Placed first at Grover Page Classic with scores of 74-67-71...OVC Champion with a first palce finish with scores of 69-70... Competed at NCAA Fayetteville Region and placed 58th with scores of 76-80-82.
Fall 2012: Saw action in six events with a scoring average of 71.0 in 17 rounds … Scored a win in the fall opener at the Wasioto Winds Fall Kick Off with scores of 70-70-68=208 … Finished second at the Skyhawk Classic with rounds of 72-70-69=211 … Was invited to two of the top winter amateur championships when he was selected for the South Beach International Amateur (Dec. 18-21) in Miami, Fla., where he placed 64th scores of 71-71-78-78=298 ... He was also invited to play in the Jones Cup Invitational (Jan. 31-Feb. 3) in Sea Island, Ga., where he finished 77th with scores of 78-78-81=237.
2012 Summer: Became the first player in MSU Golf history to advance to the round of 16 at the US Amateur (Cherry Hills Village, Colo.) ... He won two matches in come-from-behind fashion after firing rounds of 74- 69=143 in the stroke play segment ... Advanced to the match play segment after surviving a 17-way playoff for the final five match play spots ... Was seeded 54th but scored wins over the 11th and 22nd seeds before falling to the 6th seed ... Won the Kentucky State Amateur (Simpsonville, Ky.) with scores of 68-67-71=206 ... He’s the first player in MSU Golf history to win the state amateur two times and one of only two to be the champion ... Fired a round of 63 and survived a six-way playoff to qualify for the Web.com Tour (Evansville, Ind.) ... Missed the cut with scores of 73-78=151 ... Finished 14th at the Southern Amateur (Little Rock, Ark.) with scores of 74-71-69-73=287 ... Finished second and one shot out of a playoff at the Drake Creek College Showcase (Ledbetter, Ky.) with scores of 72-72=144 ... Finished sxith overall and fourth among amateurs at the Kentucky Open (Hebron, Ky.) with scores of 72-72-68=212.
2011-12: Was named the Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Year after he won three times and turned in eight top-5 finishes ... Ranked xx in the OVC with a scoring average of 72.3 in 35 rounds that covered 12 events ... Won the MSU Invitational with scores of 68-70-67=205 ... Scored a win at the Grover Page Classic with scores of 71-72-74=217 ... Won at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate with rounds of 73-69-67=209 ... Finished second at the OVC Championship with rounds of 75-71-67=213 ... For the season, had 16 rounds of par or better and eight sub-70 rounds.
2010-11: Saw action in 12 events with a scoring average of 73.6 in 31 rounds ... Won his first collegiate championship at the Wasioto Winds Fall Kick-Off when he carded scores of 67-71-70=208 ... Placed second at the UTM Skyhawk Invitational with scores of 71-68-70-209 ... Placed Second at the MSU Invitational with scores of 71-68-70=209 ... Had a tremendous summer by winning the 100th Kentucky Amateur at Kearney Hills GC in Lexington, Ky., with scores of 68-69-72=209 ... Was the low amateur at the Kentucky Open played at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club in Louisville, Ky., with scores of 76-71-68=215 with a sixth place finish ... Was named The Kentucky Golf Association the 2011 KGA John Owens Player of the Year, marking the first for the Murray State golf program.
2009-10: Played in all 13 events with a scoring average of 75.3 in 38 rounds ... Placed 13th at the MSU Invitational with scores of 74-70=144 ... Was named to the All-OVC Newcomer Team ... Helped Racers to first OVC Championship since 1991 and appearance in a NCAA regional at Notre Dame’s Warren GC.
