Before MSU: Played for Galatia HS... Helped lead the Bearcats to four straight Greater Egyptian Conference Class A regionals... In 2013, turned in a .432 average for Galatia and batted over .500 in each of her previous two seasons... Equally as effective in circle, going 29-8 over her career with an ERA of less than 1.00... Reed is a four-time Greater Egyptian all-conference selection and two-time Southern Illinois Coaches Association All-South Region team... Member of the Illinois Force travel team, she batted .352 in 2013 to help lead the Force to an ASA state title... In addition to softball, Reed was also been a first-team All-Conference selection in both basketball and volleyball.
