- Prepped at Lyon County High School in Eddyville, Kentucky where she was a two-sport athlete (Softball and Basketball), a FBLAÂ historian and a Young Republicans reporter.
- At LCHS, she received All-Fifth All-District honors in basketball and softball. She earned this honor four additional times in softball from 2014 to 2018.
- Honored with Second Region All-Region in four consecutive seasons with the lions from 2015 to 2018.
- In her sophomore and senior seasons with the Lyons, she was named to the Class 1A First Team All-State in 2016 and 2018.
- Earned a spot on the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association East/West All Star game as a junior in 2017, and represented the West squad. Â
- Following her senior campaign with the Lyons, she became the 23rd person in Kentucky high school softball history to record 1,000 career strikeouts.
