- Became just the fourth Racer in program history to be named OVC Player of the Year. James joined Karen Hubert Price (1983-84), Joi Scott (2006-07) and Ashley N. Hayes (2007-08 and 2008-09) as the only Racers to receive the prestigious honor.
- Led OVC in scoring with 22.8 points per game during league play and 21.4 ppg was 14th in NCAA D-I.
- Was fourth in the league in rebounding with 8.1 per game, is seventh in field goal percentage (48.7 percent), sixth in assists (4.2 apg) and fourth in steals (1.9 spg).
- Was one of only two players in the OVC that led her team in points, rebounds, assists and steals in the 2017-18 season.
- Had nine double-doubles and six 30-plus point outings and a 41-point barrage, the fourth-most points scored Murray State history vs Austin Peay (Feb. 8), a game in which she also came just one assist shy of the third triple-double in program history.
- First Team All-OVC selection for the second straight season
- Became the 19th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points November 17 at SIU

- Shot 42 percent from the floor and 32 percent from beyond the arc
- Second on the team with 41 made 3-pointers and had a team-best 109 made free throws
- Scored in double figures in all but three games and had 11 games where she scored 20 or more
- Had five double-doubles
- Scored a career-high 32 in the win over Morehead State (Jan. 2) and had two games with 13 rebounds, both coming against UT Martin
