Saw action in all 30 games for the Racers and started in 10...increased her scoring output five times, moving from 0.9 points per game to 5.1 as a sophomore...also tripled her rebounding efforts (0.6 to 3.3 per game)...tallied a career-best 16 points at Marshall (Dec. 29)...had the second longest free-throw streak on the team, with 13 consecutive free throws made.
2008-09
Saw action in 15 games...averaged 0.9 points and 0.6 rebounds per game...had a strong game against Tennessee Tech (Jan. 17), with a career-high four points on two field goals and added a block...named to the MSU Dean’s List and OVC Commissinor’s Honor Roll.
Before MSU
Played two seasons at Fishers High School and one season at Hamilton Southeastern...as a junior, Kluempers was part of the inaugural group to open the new Fishers High School...led Fishers to a conference championship with a 10-0 mark in 4A competition, the largest basketball class in Indiana her senior season...her conference, the Hoosier Crossroads Conference, was rated the third-best conference in Indiana...played in every game and averaged nine points and nine rebounds a game, to go along with 2.2 blocks per game as a senior...an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection...named by the Indianapolis Star as an All-State Honorable Mention, and earned an Indiana Top 60 All-Star tryout...a standout in the classroom as well she ranked in the top-10 in her class with a 3.96 GPA...played in the AAU circuits the past five seasons, playing the last three with Team Indiana, as well as playing U-14 and U-13 with Mohr Magic...during the U-17 season, averaged 14.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 3.2 blocks per contest, shooting 82 percent from the free throw line...her older sister, Lindsey, played at Eastern Illinois.

Born Kristen Nicole Kluempers, Dec. 24, 1989, in Fishers, Ind....daughter of Kurt and Terry Kluempers...has one sister, Lindsey (24), and one brother, Eric (19)...is majoring in nursing.
