2007-08
Saw action in 29 of MSU’s 32 games...averaged one point and 2.4 rebounds per contest...was third on the team with 12 blocks...had one of the best games of her career against Tennessee Tech Feb. 28, 2008 where she recorded career highs for minutes played (18), points (5) and rebounds (11).
2006-07
Saw limited playing time early on, playing in only one of the first nine games, but saw more playing time down the stretch, playing in the last four regular-season contests and the Women’s NIT game at Arkansas State...had a season-high three points and four rebounds at Eastern Illinois...also competed on the MSU women’s track and field team, earning a spot in the NCAA Regionals in Columbia, Mo., in the discus...had a toss of 39,94 meters (131 feet, 0.4 inches)...qualified for the NCAAs with an OVC championship in the discus with a toss of 42.06 meters (138 feet, 0 inches), marking only the fifth time a Murray State student-athlete won a conference title in the event.
Before MSU
Played four seasons at Paducah-Tilghman High School under coach Allison Graham...a McDonald’s All-American nominee...helped the Tornado to district championships in 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2005-06...scored more than 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds, surpassing 1,000 career points in her junior season...in her senior season (2005-06), named to all-Purchase, all-region and all-district teams...named team MVP...the Bio-Kinetics Player of the Year...named to the Kentucky All-Star Team...named to the Beach Blowout All-Tournament Team (Fort Waldon, Fla.)...in her junior season (2004-05), named all-Purchase, all-region and all-district...named to the All-Sweet 16 Tournament Team...named the game MVP in the Sweet 16 contest against Washington County...earned the Sweet 16 Sportsmanship Award...helped the Tornado to a 26-6 mark, placing third in the state...helped PTHS to regional and district titles...in her sophomore season (2003-04), named all-Purchase and all-district...named to the All-Region Tournament Team...named team MVP...helped the Tornado to a district championship...in her freshman season (2002-03), named all-state honorable mention and all-district...named to the All-Tiger Tournament Team...also excelled in track and field, gaining the state records in shot put and discus...named all-state first team in shot put and discus for six consecutive years...the 2005 Kentucky Gatorade Athlete of the Year...earned the 2005 State Track and Field 2A Sportsmanship Award...earned the Distinguished Writing Portfolio (only 10 are issued among all seniors).
