2009-10: Played the No. 2 and 3 positions in singles and finished the season 9-11…was 6-6 at No. 2 singles and 3-5 at No. 3…went 4-5 in OVC action…was a perfect 6-0 (4-0 in conference) in doubles play with Lindsey Wiseman at the No. 3 position…also played No. 1 doubles with Ashley Canty and finished 8-5 overall and 4-1 against OVC opponents…finished the fall tournaments with a 7-5 singles record and a 5-5 mark in doubles with Canty…won her last six doubles matches of the season, including going 2-0 at the OVC Championship.
2008-09: Played the No. 3 and 4 positions in singles as she went 18-11 overall...finished the fall season 4-7...won her last six spring singles matches on her way to going 6-2 in OVC play...15 of her 19 wins came in straight sets...perfect 2-0 in the OVC Tournament...named to the All-OVC Second Team in singles play...started the season in the No. 3 position in doubles before teaming up with Lyndsay Ottosen in the No. 2 position as OVC play began...the duo went 6-1 and a perfect 5-0 in OVC play...overall she finished 10-8 in doubles play after starting 3-5 in the fall season.
2007-08: Finished the season with an impressive 17-7 record in singles action...was 9-1 in dual action and 2-1 in OVC matches...went 6-1 at No. 4 singles and 2-0 at No. 3...also won her only match at No. 6...had a stretch of eight victories in nine matches early in the spring...came away victorious in each of her first two collegiate singles matches...went a combined 12-9 in doubles action...teamed with Lyndsay Ottosen to go 10-5.at No. 2 doubles and 2-1 in OVC action...went 6-4 over the final 10 matches of the season.
Before MSU: Earned three varsity letters as a member of the South Forsyth School tennis team...did not play her senior season due to early graduation...named team MVP after her sophomore and junior seasons after leading the team to the 5A State Sweet 16...finished her junior season with a singles record of 19-2-2 in helping team to runner-up in the region...dropped only five sets all season...went 17-5 as a sophomore in leading team to third place finish in the region...as a freshman, went 18-5 as team advanced to the state semifinals.
Personal: Born Alexis Kimberly Webb, Jan. 19, 1989 in Clearwater, Fla....daughter of Frank and Christine Webb...has one sister, Andrea (17)... majoring in marketing.
