2010-11: Played No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles, going 6-17...was 6-14 at No. 1 singles...went 2-6 in OVC singles play...was 8-14 at No. 1 doubles with Ashley Canty...the duo went 4-3 in OVC doubles action...was 6-4 in fall tournament doubles play...named to the MSU Dean’s List for the Fall and Spring semesters...named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2009-10: Played No. 2 through 5 singles…finished the season 7-4 overall and 3-2 in OVC play in the spring and went 6-6 during the fall tournaments…played No. 2 doubles with Lindsey Ottosen and went 4-8 overall and 1-4 in league action…finished the fall tournaments with a 5-5 doubles record with Ottosen…won the last three singles matches of the season that she finished.
2008-09: Finished her freshman season with an impressive 17-9 record in singles play, including 5-3 in OVC play...compiled a 4-2 record in fall tournaments...strung together four-straight matches to open singles play in the spring...defeated Eastern Illinois and UT Martin in singles play at the OVC Tournament...finished 11-8 overall in doubles matches...teamed with Lynsey Bochenek to finish the season as the duo won five-straight matches to close out the season...5-4 record in fall tournament doubles matches.
Before MSU: Was a four-year letterwinner for coach Ken Stocker at Mercy High School...became just the second player in MHS history to record over 100 victories in her career...finalist for Miss Tennis as a senior...went 27-6 as a senior advanced to the state championship match...earned first-place honors at the regional, Catholic League and Grand Blanc tournaments...four-time all-area, all-region and all-state selection...helped the team to a 29-2 record and a berth in the state semifinals as a freshman..received art award in the BBAC Art Show in Birmingham, Mich.
Personal: Born Cassidy AnnMarie Cunitz, Feb. 13, 1990 in Los Angeles, Calif....daughter of Gary and Claudette Cunitz...has one brother, Chase (25)...father helped Pepperdine to the 1978 men’s volleyball national championship...majoring in organizational communication.
