- Thomas joined the Murray State athletic training staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2019
- A Lincoln, Nebraska native, he earned his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska-OmahaÂ
- His athletic training experience includes working with Nebraska-Omaha hockey, Creighton volleyball, Omaha Lancers hockey, and an internship at the University of Central Florida where he worked primarily with the football team
