2009: Had a stand-out junior season with the Racers, moving onto three career top-10 lists at MSU...ranks third in hitting percentage (.271), fifth in block assists (187) and eighth in total blocks (232)...her 45 block solos ranks her just one off the top-10 list and she is just 184 kills away from the 1,000 Kill Club...named to the Saluki Invitational All-Tournament Team...finished the season ranked No. 1 on the team and in the OVC with her .295 hitting percentage...also lead the team in blocks (12-94=107) and was sixth in the conference...ranked second on the team with 22 service aces...put her name on four of the top-5 match records at MSU...tied for No. 1 in block assists and No. 2 in blocks in a match (10 at EIU, Oct. 31)...ranks No. 2 in hitting percentage in a match (10-14 attempts) with a .750 (10k-1e-12ta) vs. TSU (Oct. 17)...named to the Dean’s List at Murray State during Fall and Spring of the 2009-10 school year...became the first MSU volleyball player to earn the OVC Medal of Honor (4.0 GPA) since 2002-03...also named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2008: One of seven players to participate in all 31 matches, while starting in 11...named to the OVC All-Tournament Team after recording a .448 (48k-9e-87ta) hitting percentage and adding six blocks (2-4) and eight digs...led the team with a .336 hitting percentage (290k-67e-663ta), which is the second-best hitting percentage in a season for a Racer...the mark also ranked her No. 75 in the nation in hitting percentage...her .322 mark against conference opponents was good for the No. 2 spot in the OVC standings...also first on the team with 79 total blocks (14-65), ranking her 10th on the Racer season charts...second on the team in kills with 290...tallied 10 service aces, while only recording one reception error...her .264 career hitting percentage ranks her third on the career charts at Murray State...her .733 hitting percentage against UTM (Oct. 21) is the second-best mark in a single match (15-19 attempts) in Racer history...named to the Dean’s List at Murray State during the Fall and Spring of the 2008-09 school year...named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

PERSONAL: Born Sara Allison Hayden, April 22, 1989 in Louisville, Ky....daughter of Al and Marcia Hayden...has one sister, Emily (18) and one brother, Andrew (15)...majoring in learning behavorial disorders, with a minor in elementary education.
