Will Pearson joined the Murray State baseball staff as a Pitching Analyst in August 2025.
Pearson arrived in Murray following a Division I playing career spanning the University of Georgia (2021-23) and the University of Iowa (2025). Across 71 career appearances between the two programs, he logged 80.1 innings pitched.
While at Georgia, Pearson served as a key arm in the bullpen. During the 2022 campaign, he posted a 2-2 record with a 5.28 ERA in a team-high 26 relief appearances, helping the Bulldogs to a 36-23 record and a berth in the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional. Following his time in Athens, Pearson competed in the prestigious Cape Cod League with the Harwich Mariners in 2023.
Transitioning to coaching following his playing career, Pearson served as the pitching coach for the USA Prime 15U National Team during the summer of 2025. He helped guide the squad to the 2025 WWBA National Championship.
A three-time Southeastern Conference (SEC) Academic Honor Roll selection from 2021-23, Pearson earned his degree in sport management from the University of Georgia.
