Victor Named OVC Player Of The Week For The Third-Straight Week

After averaging 21.5 points per game and 16.5 rebounds per game in leading the undefeated Murray State Racers to two big road wins last week, Cuthbert Victor earned his third-straight Ohio Valley Confence Player of the Week honor on Monday.
Victor, a 6-foot-5 senior forward from St. Croix, Virgin Islands, has earned the league's top player honor all three weeks this season. He scored 17 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in the Racers' 73-67 win over TCU of Conference USA last Wednesday, then came back with a monster game in the Racers' thrilling 100-95 double-overtime win at Western Kentucky on Sunday.
In that game, Victor scored 26 points and pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds in 45 minutes of action.
Victor leads the league in rebounding (11.8 rpg) and field goal percentage (73.7%), and his 17.3 points per game is fifth in the conference.
Nationally, Victor ranks third in field goal percentage and fourth in rebounding.
Murray State is off to a 6-0 start and will host Chicago State on Saturday, Dec. 13 in the Regional Special Events Center.
