For the eighth consecutive year, the Murray State men's basketball team will host a first-round game in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament, and the MSU athletics department has released ticket information for fans interested in cheering on the Racers throughout the tourney.
The tournament is set to begin with first-round games on Tuesday, March 2, at campus sites and conclude with the semifinals and finals on March 5-6 at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.
The Racers, which have clinched the No. 2 seed in next week's tournament, will host a first-round game on March 2 at 7 p.m. at the RSEC, and tickets are on sale now. All chair seats, reserved bleachers and general admission tickets for the first-round game are $10 for adults and $4 for students.
Current MSU season ticket holders interested in retaining their seats for the first-round game must request and purchase them through the MSU ticket office by Thursday, Feb. 26. After that date, all remaining seats will be on sale to public.
Tickets for the semifinals and finals in Nashville are also currently on sale through the MSU ticket office. There will be three sessions of basketball in Nashville, starting with Session I on Friday afternoon, featuring the two women's semifinal games (noon and 2 p.m.) followed by Session II on Friday evening, which will feature the men's semifinal games (6 p.m., 8 p.m.). Session III will feature both the women's championship game (2 p.m., Saturday) and the men's championship game (5 p.m., Saturday).
Tickets for a single session are $18 per ticket, or fans can purchase tickets for all three sessions for just $32. The MSU ticket office is taking orders now, but the deadline for reserving tickets in Nashville is Tuesday, March 2.
The MSU ticket office will have a booth set up in the lobby of Lower Level A at the RSEC following the first-round game to finalize all requests. All payments for tickets in Nashville will be due at the close of the evening on March 2. Tickets for Nashville will be available for pickup on Wednesday, March 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the VIP Lobby of the RSEC.

OTHER OVC TOURNAMENT NOTES FOR RACER FANS
-- The host hotel for the Racers in Nashville will once again be the Millennium Maxwell House. Racer fans may call 1-800-457-4460 or 615-259-4343 and ask for the $88 rate.
-- Murray State students will get the chance to attend the Racers' first-round Ohio Valley Conference Tournament home game on Tuesday, March 2, for free. The first 500 MSU students at the March 2 game will receive free admission to the game, rather than have to pay the OVC-mandated admission cost charged to all fans.
