The Murray State men's basketball team begins a five-game road stretch through the Ohio Valley Conference this week with games at Eastern Illinois and Southeast Missouri. Fans can see all of the action as both games will be televised, though only the SEMO game will be a live telecast.
The Racers' matchup with rival Southeast Missouri on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo., will be televised live before a regional audience on Fox Sports Net South. It will mark the second appearance for MSU on the network this season, with the first coming last Saturday, as the Racers earned a 90-76 win over Morehead State at the Regional Special Events Center in Murray, Ky.
MSU opens its road trip on Thursday at 7:35 p.m., against Eastern Illinois in Lantz Arena in Charleston, Ill. The game, which will be televised live in the Charleston area by WEIU-TV, will be televised on a tape-delayed basis on Monday, Feb. 9, at 10 p.m. by MSU TV 11.
The partnership is the latest between MSU TV 11 and Racer athletics as the campus television station is in the process of televising all of the Racer basketball team's home games and all of the Lady Racers' conference home games in 2003-04.
