The Murray State men's basketball program will host the Mick Cronin Basketball Camps, which include a team camp, an individual day camp and an individual overnight camp, during mid-June at the Regional Special Events Center (RSEC) in Murray.
Cronin, who led the Racers to a 28-6 record, an Ohio Valley Conference Tournament title and an NCAA Tournament appearance in his first season at MSU in 2003-04, will be joined by several former and current Racer players and the MSU coaching staff during each of the instructional camps.
"It's such an enjoyable experience for me as coach to be able to work with kids in the camp environment," Cronin said. "This type of camp allows the coaches and players in our basketball program to work with so many great young people who are truly interested in learning more about this great game. We really look forward to spending time teaching and coaching all of our campers."
The team camp is set for June 18-20, followed by the individual day camp on June 21-24 and the individual overnight camp on June 25-27. All three camps will be hosted at the air-conditioned, state-of-the-art RSEC on the MSU campus.
"Through the guidance and hard work of our experienced coaching staff and student-athletes, we hope to make each camper's experience very beneficial, both as a basketball player and as a person," Cronin said.
