NCAA Mideast Regional Championships - Day 2 Recap

Murray State's women's 4x400-meter relay team finished in 13th place during Saturday's action at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships at LSU's Bernie Moore Track Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.
Led by senior Joan Lettman of Toronto, Ontario, senior Chantal Curtis of Nassau, Bahamas, and freshmen LaShondra Durias and Nicole Peterson of Louisville's Iroquois High School, the MSU relay team finished with a time of 3 minutes, 56.13 seconds to earn 13th in the field of 14 teams.
Tennessee won the relay title with a time of 3:29.60, followed by host LSU in second and Auburn in third.
The NCAA regional meet closes out the 2004 outdoor season for the Racers and Lady Racers.
