Blue-Gold scrimmages to open basketball pre-season schedule

"We are going to have a fun night for our students and fans," said Racer coach Mick Cronin. "We are going to play our game, but we will also sign autographs, have contests and have a lot of interaction as well."
The Racers will also have exhibition games on Nov. 5 against Bellarmine and on Nov. 11 against Christian Brothers.
"This will give us a chance to prepare for a real game setting with officials and fans," said Lady Racer coach Joi Felton. "That will help, especially with our new players and the jitters they might have, and it will help them get adapted more to playing. It's also a good chance for us to see them and to get out and have fun and play."
The Lady Racers will also have exhibition games on Nov. 4 against Blue Chip All-Stars and on Nov. 10 against St. Louis Goldstar.
