Racers shut out TSU 7-0

The Racers (2-4, 1-0 OVC) won the doubles point by sweeping all three doubles matches and won all of the singles matches in straight sets.
Fadi Zamjaoui won at No. 1 singles over James Dickerson 6-1, 6-1, while Chris Morgan won at No. 2 singles over Vaughn Evans 6-0, 6-1, and Yuri Pompeu won at No. 3 singles over Matthew Patton 6-0, 6-3. Jeff Lester won at No. 4 singles over LaDarrell Collier 6-0, 6-4, while Craig Jacobs won at No. 5 singles over Brandon Cobb 6-0, 6-0, and Clayton Clark won at No. 6 singles over Dominique Keys 6-1, 6-0.
In doubles play, Morgan and Pompeu won at No. 1 doubles over Dickerson and Patton 8-4 in the eight-game pro set, while Zamjaoui and Hunter Gerlach won at No. 2 doubles over Evans and Collier 8-3, and Clark and Lester won at No. 3 doubles over Cobb and Keys 8-0.
Murray State visits OVC rival Jacksonville State tomorrow (Friday).
