His season-high in points was 28 on two occasions, against SIU-Edwardsville in the season-opener Nov. 11th, and Jan. 29th against Morehead State.
Pearson began the season making his first 19 free throws.
Also an excellent defender, Pearson led the Racers in steals with 52, which ranked him fifth in the league.
Pearson ranked in the top five in the OVC in points per game, field-goal percentage, assists, steals, three-point percentage and made three-point baskets.
Trey Pearson is the first Racer to be named to the All-OVC team as a sophomore since Isaac Spencer in 1998.
