The Murray State men's tennis team fell in its second-round match at the O'Reilly Ohio Valley Conference Championship Tournament, held this weekend at the Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville, Tenn.

Murray State will face Austin Peay tomorrow (Sunday) at 11 a.m. in a battle for seventh place.

Against Tennessee-Martin, in singles play, Fadi Zamjaoui won at No. 1 singles over Gustavo Anzola 6-0, 6-1, but Chris Morgan fell at No. 2 singles to Dirk Prinsloo 6-1, 6-1. Jeff Lester lost at No. 4 singles to Danny McGuire 7-6, 6-3, while Clayton Clark fell at No. 6 singles to Olla Mollaymari 6-0, 7-5.

In doubles play, Morgan and Zamjaoui won at No. 1 doubles over Gustavo Anzola and Adolfo Anzola 8-6 in the eight-game pro set, but Hunter Gerlach and Yuri Pompeu fell at No. 2 doubles to McGuire and Prinsloo 8-5, while Clark and Lester lost at No. 3 doubles to Mollaymari and Chris Slabbert 8-6. UTM won the doubles point 2-1.
