Dansby, Jackson granted release

Murray State men's basketball players Shane Dansby and Reggie Jackson recently requested to be released from the Racer program and were released by head coach Mick Cronin.
"After meeting with both young men, it was apparent that they both needed to be closer to home," Cronin said. "This was their top priority, and they are free to pursue other schools to fit their needs."
Dansby played in all 28 games as a freshman. He averaged 11.1 minutes per game and 3.6 points per game.
Jackson played in 24 of 28 games as a junior. He averaged 11.8 minutes per game and 4.8 points per game.
