Racers fall at No. 73 Memphis 6-0

The Murray State men's tennis team visited No. 73 Memphis this afternoon and came away with a 6-0 loss. The teams did not play doubles, due to a lack of court availability.

Fadi Zamjaoui fell at No. 1 singles to James Spence 7-5, 7-6, while Chris Morgan lost at No. 2 singles to Alex Bucewicz 6-3, 6-2, and Yupi Pompey fell at No. 3 singles to Marten Tamla 6-3, 7-6. Jeff Lester lost at No. 4 singles to Mark Finnegan 6-2, 6-2, while Hunter Gerlach fell at No. 5 singles to Andrew Olswing 6-3, 6-4, and Craig Jacobs lost at No. 6 singles to Garrison Pilant 6-4, 6-0.

Murray State next competes at Ohio Valley Conference rival Eastern Illinois on Sunday at 10 a.m.
