Thomas Cleared To Play, George Joins MSU Squad

Kevin Thomas has been cleared by team medical personnel to participate fully in practice and competition for the Racers. He is expected to see playing time Tuesday night when Murray State hosts Jacksonville State.

Also, Ray George, a 6'4” guard from Atlanta, Georgia, and a fall 2006 transfer from Georgia Perimeter College, has been certified to compete during the 2006-07 season.

“I'm glad to have Kevin and Ray join our team. They will add perimeter depth and hopefully help us become a better defensive team,” said Head Coach Billy Kennedy. “Our compliance office and administration worked closely with the NCAA, the OVC, and our institution to verify Ray's status for this season. I appreciate everyone's assistance during this process.”
