MSU Fans Invited To RSEC for Racer "Dance" Party

Admission is free, as fans can expect to see highlights from the Racers 24-6 season, and lots of music and specials from the Racer band and cheerleaders leading up to the selection show.
CBS television will begin its Selection Sunday broadcast at
KFVS television the local CBS affiliate from
Head coach Mick Cronin is more than happy to invite the best fans in college basketball over to the Racers home court for some fun. "Our students and fans have given our team great support all season long and we want to invite them to share the excitement with us on Selection Sunday."
While many fans have been speculating on the location where the Racers may be sent to, and what their seed may be, the team hasn't paid much attention.
"We haven't talked about seeding and all of that, it's no use to do that, Sophomore Justin Orr said. "We'll just wait until Sunday and find out together."
Senior Darnell Hopkins isn't into predictions either. "We're concentrating on what we're doing. I'm sure we'll have a tough opponent, in that first game, but we're out to win it."
But when pressed on the issue of the Racers seed,
All of the players agree the MSU fans have given them an edge all season.
"It'll be nice to share this with them, they were a big help, we couldn't have done it without the fans and the love that they showed us," Orr said. ” It's all about team and they (the fans) are part of the program."
Darnell Hopkins said Sunday's event will be familiar. "I think it'll be just like a game in there Sunday, they'll be going crazy, like they did when we went to the OVC title game."
