Men's Tennis Sweeps Vincennes In Exhibition Match

Murray State's men's tennis beat Vincennes University, 7-0, today in an exhibition match at the KenLake State Resort Park Indoor Tennis Center in Aurora, Ky. Vincennes is a junior college located in Vincennes, Ind.

Fadi Zamjaoui and Dmytro Hryhorash earned a 9-7 victory at No. 1 doubles. Jeff Lester and Yuri Pompeu won 8-4 at No. 2 doubles.

In singles, the Racers earned straight set victories in the five matches that were played. MSU won the No. 6 singles match by default.

Zamjaoui, Hryhorash, Hunter Gerlach, Chris Horton and Nicholas Ksiezopolski all earned singles victories. Clay Waller picked up the win by default at No. 6 singles.

The Racers will return to action on March 10 when they begin Ohio Valley Conference play against Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. The match is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
