Samford Comes From Behind To Edge Racer Women's Tennis

Murray State's women's tennis team swept all three doubles matches but Samford University came back to win the final four singles matches to pull out a 4-3 victory today in Birmingham, Ala. The Racers drop to 3-5 on the season and 0-1 in Ohio Valley Conference play. Samford moves to 5-2 overall and 4-0 against conference opponents.
Wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles left
Rachael Lask edged McMiller in three sets at No. 2 singles. Lask won the first set 7-5 before McMiller came back to take the second set in a tiebreaker. The third set went to a tiebreaker as well but Lask held on for the win.
White began to turn things around for Samford with a 6-2 and 6-4 victory at No. 3 singles over Pruitt.
After McGahee won the first set 6-0 over
McKey and Bethany Benson earned wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively, to give Samford the victory.
The Racers will have a chance to even their conference record on Sunday when they face
