Murray State Basketball In ESPNU BracketBusters Event

Murray State Basketball will be part of the sixth annual O'Reilly ESPNU BracketBusters event, a two-day men's college basketball extravaganza pitting potential NCAA Tournament hopefuls against each other on February 22-23.
The Racers are slated for a home game along with fellow OVC members Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky and
MSU's opponent for the event will be announced Feb. 4.
The Racers are 3-0 all-time in the ESPN event with wins at Rice in 2005, home against Illinois-Chicago in 2006 and a road win last season at Rider. The Racers host Rider in a return game for their season and home opener Nov. 10 at the
The 100-team field will feature 12 teams from the Mid-American Conference and Colonial Athletic; 11 from the Ohio Valley Conference; 10 from the Missouri Valley, Horizon League and Metro Atlantic Athletic; nine from the Western Athletic Conference and Big West; four from the America East and Southern; two from the Patriot, Big Sky and Big South; one from the West Coast, Summit League and Atlantic Sun.
