The Racers had several chances to draw even but could not get the equalizer even though they dominated play in the second half and out shot
“When we look at getting ready for play in the OVC, I couldn't ask for the girls to be in any better position than we are right now,” MSU head coach Beth Acreman said.
“We're playing possession soccer and the team is getting better at playing on the ball,” Acreman added. “I think we're raising our level of play in each match and we'll be peaking when conference games begin.”
