Billy Kennedy met with members of the local media for his weekly news conference in the Racer Room of Roy Stewart Stadium.
MSU is 4-1 with three straight wins after a 76-66 win Saturday over St. Catharine.
The win was MSU's fourth straight at the Regional Special Events Center.
MSU opens Ohio Valley Conference play Thursday with a 6:15 p.m. game at Eastern Kentucky and a 3:15 p.m. game Saturday at Morehead State.
Both games mark the first broadcasts of the Racer Television Network. All 58,000 subscribers of NewWave Communications and Mediacom cable systems will receive the game live at no additional charge.
