The highlight of the meet for MSU was another record-setting performance in the distance medley relay.
Two weeks after breaking the
Taylor Crawford finished third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.
MSU's Amber Mills and Brandy Williams finished sixth and eighth place in the 600-meter run with times of 1:36 and 1:41.
In the 3,000-meter run, MSU's Alaina Zanin finished 13th with a time of 10:44, while teammate Kristin Reffett was 19th at 11:15.
For MSU head coach Dereck Chavis, the team is peaking at the right time with the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships coming up Feb. 29-March 1 at
“This was a positive meet for all of our competing athletes as they all set personal bests,” Chavis said. “It's becoming more evident that we're approaching each race and event with more confidence.”
