Kennedy News Conference - Preparing For BracketBuster Day

Here are some of his comments as the Racers have most of the week off before hosting
Coach Kennedy's opening remarks.
“Right now we're glad to have some time off. We've got some guys sick and others that have been sick for a couple of weeks. This time comes at a good time for us.”
What are your thoughts about playing
“They've beaten Creighton,
They've lost their last two games, they play
The team has been going through various sicknesses, how are things going right now?
Right after our game Saturday, Bruce Carter was really sick with the flu and went to the hospital during the night. Tyler Holloway went yesterday. They won't practice today and hopefully they'll be a little better tomorrow. Last week, Danero, Ray, Kevin, and Tarod - they all had something. It's good to have some time off, hopefully we can get beyond that.”

“It's not something that you want because it messes up the conference (schedule), everything is a grind in our conference (already). The good thing about our game this year is it's at home and we have a week to prepare. If it's on national television, to me, that's why the whole Bracket Buster thing became popular. That would make it even more appealing to you, but, if you're traveling, like last year when we had to go to
