Kennedy Adds Familiar Face To MSU Basketball Staff

Murray State Head Basketball Coach Billy Kennedy announced the hiring of Amir Abdur-Rahim as assistant coach.
Abdur-Rahim was with the Racers for the last two seasons as graduate assistant manager while he completed his master's degree in organizational communications.
He was all set to return to his alma-mater,
“It's an honor and a privilege to be back at MSU as apart of Coach Kennedy's staff and the Racer family,” Abdur-Rahim said. “I'm excited about the upcoming season and look forward to helping make our student-athletes and program better.”
Kennedy gets an outstanding individual who was a talented player and has already shown the ability to coach at a high level too.
