Men?s Tennis Drops a Pair of Matches in Memphis

The Murray State men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches Saturday in Memphis, Tenn. The Racers started the day by dropping a 7-0 decision to Southeastern Louisiana, before returning in the afternoon and dropping a 7-0 match to the Tigers.
In the morning match against the Lions, the doubles team of Mason Johnson and Jadir Semensin posted an 8-4 victory over Alexis Biarneix and Benjamin Enke at No. 3 doubles. SLU held on to take the doubles point after pulling out a pair of 8-5 victories at the top two doubles spots.
In singles action, newcomers Ben Clos and Renaldo Domoney each split their first two sets and went to a pro set to determine the winner. Clos fell 10-6 at the No. 1 spot, while Domoney fell 10-2 at No. 2.
Domoney found himself in the same situation in the afternoon match against the Tigers. Playing No. 3 singles, Domoney dropped the opening set 6-2, before evening the match by taking the second set 6-2. In the pro set, Domoney battled Charlie Ramsay to end before Ramsay came away with the 10-8 decision.
