MSU Basketball Ranks High In New Daily NCAA Offering

The NCAA released its basketball national statistics and rankings last evening and it finds the Murray State men's team showing up in many categories.
The Racers' highest rankings are in field goal percentage and steals per game where they are fourth in the nation in each.
MSU also ranks high in scoring margin (7th), scoring offense (12th) and field goal percentage defense (11th).
Individually, the Racers have representation in the national rankings too.
Ivan Aska is 11th in the nation in field goal percentage, while Danero Thomas is 15th in steals per game.
Fans and media outlets will be glad to learn that the NCAA statistics will be updated daily instead of once per week. This is the first time this has ever happened.
Sports information directors from all teams and levels of NCAA basketball are now downloading their box scores after each home game, which enables the NCAA to provide the most updated stats on any given day.
