Isacc Miles Enjoys Rare Triple-Double Accomplishment

News that he was close to a triple-double went buzzing through the stands late in the game Monday at MSU's Regional Special Events Center, and on the Racer bench as Miles was informed he only needed one rebound to get the prized mark.
Miles secured the feat with his tenth rebound with 1:17 left.
“Coach Chew told me I needed one rebound for a triple-double,” Miles said. “I didn't even know I was close. I had one in high school, but not since.”
“He feels good about it, sure,” MSU Head Coach Billy Kennedy said. “He has been our most consistent player this season and he has a great understanding of what this is all about. It's about championships and doing something special.”
“Isacc is the heart of our team right now,” Kennedy added. “To get a triple-double, that's great, he did everything he could do to help us win.”
UTM's Lester Hudson was the last player in the OVC to record a triple-double, which he pushed to a quadruple-double (the first in NCAA history) with double-figures in points, rebounds, blocks and steals last season.
