Miles & Aska Earn OVC Weekly Awards

Isacc Miles and Ivan Aska were named Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer and Co-Freshman of the week on Monday.
The announcement marked back to back weeks for the pair to be honored by the OVC.
Miles, a sophomore from Kansas City, Mo., earned his third league newcomer award after leading Murray State to three wins last week. Including a triple-double against UT Martin, as Miles became the first Racer (and ninth player in OVC history) to record that feat.
He had 13 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in the win over the Skyhawks and followed that with 13 points, four rebounds and six assists against
For the week Miles averaged 14.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists per game.

He opened with a 23-point, 11-rebound performance against UTM, hitting 9-of-14 (64.3%) from the field and had six points and three rebounds against
Aska shared the award with Tennessee Tech's Kevin Murphy.
