The Murray State men's tennis team improved its record to 2-5 on the season with a 4-3 victory over future OVC opponent SIU Edwardsville Saturday morning at the Purcell Tennis Courts.
The Racers captured the doubles point as Luka Milicevic and Renaldo Domoney teamed up for an 8-5 victory at No. 2 and Jadir Semensin and Mason Johnson followed with an identical victory at No. 3.
MSU continued to push ahead in singles action as Jose Berardo eased to a 6-0, 6-3 victory at No. 4, and Domoney followed closely behind with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 3.
Semensin sealed the victory for the Racers with a 6-1, 7-6 (2) victory at No. 6.
The Racers return to the court March 12 with an OVC match at Tennessee State.
