MSU Advances To OVC Men's Tennis Semifinals

The Murray State Men's Tennis team advanced in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Friday with a 4-2 victory over Eastern Illinois at the Larry Heflin/Long Oak Tennis Center in
The Racers, the fourth seed, started the match by taking the doubles point in thrilling fashion against the fifth seeded Panthers.
It all came down to the last doubles contest between MSU's Luka Milicevic and Renaldo Domoney and

In singles play, MSU scored wins from their top three singles positions.
Ben Clos defeated Dusan Milovanovic 6-2, 6-2, while Luka Milicevic scored a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Greg Anderson. MSU's Renaldo Berardo continued the pace delivering a 6-0, 6-3 win over Bradley Bryan.
“I'm very pleased with our team and the way they played today,” MSU Head Coach Mel Purcell said. “That doubles point going down to the third match was a tense time for everyone, but Luka and Renaldo came through in the clutch. Our guys played with so much intensity, it was great to see.”
