Jenkins Earns Pepsi Athlete Of The Week Award

Murray State men's basketball's B.J. Jenkins is the Pepsi Athlete of the Week for the period of Feb. 1-7.
Jenkins, a junior from Virginia Beach, Va., led the Racers to two wins at home over Tennessee State and Austin Peay.
He led the Racers with a 13.5 scoring average to go with 3.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game.
Against Tennessee State, Jenkins scored a team-high 17 points and added 10 points against Austin Peay.
For the week, he shot 45 percent from the field and 33 percent from three-point range.
Jenkins was also named the Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the week for the fourth time.
