Crawford Takes First at Ole Miss Invitational

The Murray State women's track and field traveled to Oxford, Miss. this weekend to compete in the Ole Miss Invitational.
Senior Taylor Crawford took first place in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:37.88. This is a season best for Crawford and places her third in the Ohio Valley Conference in the event.
In the 100-meter dash Alexis Love placed 12th with a time of 12.26. Audris Williams took 19th place with a time of 12.32.
In the 5,000-meter run Katelyn Jones finished ninth (18:39.27), while Asenath NaAman rounded out the top ten with a time of 18:41.47.
Kayla Crusham finished sixth in the 3,000-meter Steeple Chase with a time of 11:41.89.
The Racers also finished fifth in the 4x100 Meter Relay with a time of 46.95.
In field events, Josh Rogers took third in the high jump with a leap of 1.67m.
The track and field team will host the Racer Invitational, Sat., Apr. 17th at the Marshall Gage Track located inside of Roy Stewart Stadium.
