Racers Hand UT-Martin 5-2 Defeat

The Murray State women's tennis teamed handed UT-Martin a 5-2 loss Thursday afternoon at the Bennie Purcell Tennis Courts.
The Racers started off with an early lead by capturing the doubles point.
Senior Angela McGahee and Ashley Canty defeated Jodie Tiley and Allie Laing, 8-5.
Alexis Webb and Lindsey Wiseman sealed the doubles point by winning, 8-2 at No. 3.
McGahee also won her singles match at No. 1 against Tiley. McGahee won in two sets, 6-3, 6-1.
Wiseman also won at No. 4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-1.
MSU will host Eastern Illinois for their Senior Day, Saturday, Apr. 10th. Senior recognition will start at 1:30 p.m., with the match beginning at 2 p.m. Come out and support senior's Angela McGahee and Lyndsay Ottosen as they play their last regular season match at home.
