Kennedy Named NABC District 19 Coach Of The Year

Murray State Head Coach Billy Kennedy has been named the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) District-19 Coach of the Year as announced by the organization.

Kennedy, who was also named the Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year, has led Murray State to a 30-4 record and a 17-1 finish in the league.

The Racers find out about their NCAA Tournament assignment on Selection Sunday. MSU will be making their 14^th appearance in the NCAA Tournament after winning the OVC regular season and tournament championship.

Kennedy has also been nominated for the Hugh Durham Award.
