Kennedy Named NABC District 19 Coach Of The Year

Murray State Head Coach Billy Kennedy has been named the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) District-19 Coach of the Year as announced by the organization.
Kennedy, who was also named the Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year, has led Murray State to a 30-4 record and a 17-1 finish in the league.
The Racers find out about their NCAA Tournament assignment on Selection Sunday. MSU will be making their 14th appearance in the NCAA Tournament after winning the OVC regular season and tournament championship.
Kennedy has also been nominated for the Hugh Durham Award.
