Indoor Track & Field Returns to Action at Saluki Open

“It is exciting to get back to competition after the long break,” said head coach Jenny Severns. “This meet will be the first competition for most of the team, including Rebecca Hbetamu, who is new to the team this semester. It will be a good opportunity to see where everyone on the team is for the season. ”
The Racers will be one of 12 NCAA DI teams participating in the event. MSU will get an early chance to see what some of the teams from the Ohio Valley Conference have this season as well, as Austin Peay, Jacksonville State, Southeast Missouri and Tennessee State will also be part of the competition. The Racers will also be battling with teams from the Missouri Valley, Sun Belt, Atlantic Sun, Conference USA and Southwestern conferences.
