Murray State Athletics to Hold Benefit Auction

The “Sneakers & Scholarships” benefit auction for Racer Athletics is set for BracketBuster weekend on Friday, Feb. 18. The event at the CFSB Center seeks to raise scholarship support for summer school. Funds will also go to support the overall mission of the athletic department and to assist in enhancing the visibility of Racer Athletics.
The night kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with a reception and silent auction. Dinner follows at 7:00 p.m. with a live auction taking place at 7:30 p.m. Auction items include Murray State items along with unique opportunities such as dinners with members of the coaching staff and President of the University, tickets to sporting and athletic events, vacation packages, guest coaching opportunities, summer camp opportunities and collectable sports memorabilia. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on a bit of history as a section of floor from Racer Arena will be among the auction items.
Tickets, which include a full buffet dinner, are available for $19.50 per person, or $95 for a table of six. Advanced reservations are required.
