Track & Field Headed to 2011 Indoor OVC Championship

A year ago, MSU finished fifth in the 2010 OVC Indoor Championships and return four athletes that placed in the top-10 in at least one event to this year's roster.
Sophomore Alexis Love earned top-10 finishes in the 55 and 200. Love claimed All-OVC honors with a second-place finish in the 200 (25.01) and took fourth in the 55 (7.11).
Junior Kayla Crusham combined with Christina Johnson, Karissa Magnuson, and Taylor Crawford to take second place in the distance medley relay, with a time of 12:22.65, and earn all-conference honors.
Junior Lexie Barr led the returns in the field events, finishing sixth in the pole vault, with a jump of 3.35m (11'0”). Senior Josha Rogers was the final member of this season's team to earn a top-10 finish, taking seventh in the high jump (1.58m/5'2.25”).
