Track & Field Returns to Action at Polytan Invitational

The Racers will be one of 17 teams from all three NCAA divisions and the National Junior College Athletic Association at the meet. MSU joins Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State from the Ohio Valley Conference, as well as teams from the Big 10 (Illinois, Indiana), Big East (Cincinnati, Marquette, South Florida), Atlantic 10 (Xavier), Horizon (Butler, Milwaukee), Conference USA (Marshall), Mid American (Ball State, Miami (Ohio)) and the Summit League (IPFW).
The Polytan Invitational is one of two meets left before the Racers host the 2011 OVC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 6-7) at Marshall Gage Track. The final meet before the OVC Championships will now be a tri-meet at Austin Peay with Tennessee Tech (April 30).
