Reffett Earns Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team Honors

Reffett had a strong senior campaign for the Racers. The Evansville, Ind., native set personal records in all seven of her individual events, indoor and outdoor. She capped off her career by placing fifth at the OVC Outdoor Championship in the javelin and ninth in the 5,000. She hit a personal-best mark of 33.55m (110'1”) in the javelin.
Reffett was one of 12 student-athletes on the MSU track & field team to participate in OVC Outdoor Championship that helped the team place fifth overall. The finish was three spots higher their 2010 finish.
She is a three time member of the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll and a four-time member of the MSU Dean's list after finishing her academic career with a 4.0 GPA and earning a degree in business administration with an accounting concentration. She also earned the 2006-07 All-American Scholar Athlete in track honor and the 2006 OVC Medal of Honor in track & field and cross country.
